What To Expect
This is a day for you to experience the life of Old Dhaka. You will be visiting Sadarghat (water front), the Pink Palace, Shakari Bazaar (Hindu Street), Dakeswari Temple among other sights. Then we drive 45km to Dhamrai Metalcraft Village to meet the people who have been involved in this business for generations. We see the lost wax process, which is the way to make beautiful idols & gods etc. Also a highlight of the tour is Pottery Village. We can observe the village style of life and fabrication of pots and all other ceramic items. You may try making some yourself. Lunch is in a famous local restaurant.

Itinerary
Day Long Itinerary
7:00- Pick up from a place convenient to you, and drive to Old Dhaka.
8:30- Sightseeing starts with a walk through the narrow alleys of Shakari Bazar.
9:30- Visit the Pink Palace (Nawab’s Palace museum).
10:00- Visit the vibrant Sadarghat (Boat Station).
11:00- Visit 11th-century Dakeswari National Hindu Temple.
12:30- Lunch in a local restaurant.
13:30- Drive to Dhamrai Metal craft Village (Lost Wax process).
14:30- 30-minute boat trip to Kakran Pottery Village.
15:30- Visit Savar National Martyr’s Monument.
16:00- Start return drive to Dhaka.
17:00- Arrive at Hotel/Residence.
